OUR MINISTRIES
Our current active ministries includes Education, Benevolence, Peoples, Finance, and Facilities Maintenance. They are revised as needed.
The Ministry of Education is responsible for establishing curriculum, identifying and developing teachers and coordinating appropriate training / workshops etc.. This ministry is also be responsible for scheduling speakers and class room teachers. The following are ministries that fall under Education:
Preaching, Teaching, Evangelism, Bible Correspondence, Library, and Website.
The Ministry of Benevolence is be responsible for 1) Helping the orphans and widows (James 1:27), 2) Remembering the poor (Mat 19:21), 3) Giving to the needy (Eph 4: 28), 4) Helping the Saints (1 Cor 16:1,2). The following are ministries that fall under Benevolence: Visitation, Communion, Church directorate, and Church register / membership registration
The Ministry of People is to invest and support the individual and collective development of the various groups within the congregation, i.e., ladies activities, singles, youth, seniors, campus outreach and the sunshine team.
The Ministry of Finance is be responsible for the keeping of financial records in order to allow the management of the church to access data which will assist in the planning, organising and controlling of the financial aspect of the church. Having collected and organised the data, important information is made available in the form of financial statements to both internal users (the church) and external users (e.g. government).
The Ministry of Facilities Maintenance oversee the general maintenance and up keep of the church property, coordination of projects relative to building upgrades and repairs, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and accessories associated with the building.
